XML Error on Excel Output

Question

Has anyone found a fix to the XML error on Excel outputs besides deleting the output/re-running? I'm trying to output to an excel template, so I can't just delete the output every time, but I've had this issue on a couple of workflows recently. Doesn't look like any data is actually being dropped some of the time, and sometimes it is.

The excel file is named  "CWF - enterICChere enterDATEhere"

and the worksheet is named "Range_Review"

I am doing an overwrite and specifying the range A4:A55000.  I am using a large range to ensure previous data is wiped out.  Is there a better way to do this?

There are a few reasons this could happen. Are you overwriting sheet or range? Are there special characters in your excel sheet name?

I am having this same issue and only recently.  It's very frustrating because there are not warnings in Alteryx, only when you try to open the excel file.  I don't always open the excel file because the data is going into a template file that others are using.    It seems to be happening more often.  Not long ago I upgraded to latest designer; not sure if that has an impact.  Here is the error  message.
