Office firewall blocking test data

Hi , 

I was attempting Alteryx core designer test on my office laptop and office firewall has blocked data to be downloaded for practical questions. It is not easy to get it unblocked from IT department (lots of to and from with reasoning) and my personal laptop is MacBook (Alteryx does not support mac OS). Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any suggestions how to get around it, will be welcome.

So you are trying to download the Designer installer or are you trying to download a random dataset to your office laptop? Either way, you're probably best off complying to company regulations. If you specify what you want to download we might be able to pinpoint you in the right direction.
