Formatting data in table and graph

Question

Please could someone help me by showing me how to format some sample data into a table and graph similar to one I have already created in word.

I have the desired data, albeit in the wrong layout (see 2nd and 3rd screenshots), and want to know how I can turn this into a simple table, (similar to the top two rows of the word document screenshot attached (where SPG=selected peer group)), the alteryx file is also attached.

Please ignore the bottom row in this table and graph labelled "full service wealth managers" this is not relevant, only the other two rows and headings are for the purpose of this.

Hi, @Tom - to my knowledge, there's not an out-of-the-box way to create a chart with an attached data table (like you can in Excel or Word). The way I would do it in Alteryx is 1) create the bar chart, 2) create the data table, then 3) stack them on top of each other.

Example workflow:

(I know you have some pretty extensive data cleaning/reshaping work to get it to this point, but for example purposes, I just keyed in the example data into a Text Input tool)

To create the chart, you'll want to use the Crosstab tool to arrange the data with the Revenue Stream in the rows, and the Questionnaire Number into the columns. Each column will be a different layer (colored bar) in the report.

For the table, you'll want to Crosstab the data so the Revenue Stream is in the columns this time (and Questionnaire Number in the rows):

You'll probably need to tweak the width of the chart and width of the table columns to get them to line up precisely, but this should give you a rough idea of how it could be done.
