Input Parameters Once and Use in Workflow

Question

Is there a way I can enter parameters in some Text Input Tool, and then somehow use that text input Tool to set certain parameters in my Filter tool, or my Formula tool later on in my workflow. Being able to do this will allow me to change a parameter in one place and have it populated throughout my workflow.
