CReW Macro Plug-In

Hello all,

We are interested in downloading the CReW macro package for our Designer software and I am wondering if there is a community consensus on its viability and how useful it is for users. We would need to install this at the desktop and Server level so any insight would be much appreciated. I don't see many high-level opinions on the macro package besides some community error issues. I understand Alteryx does not support it officially, but it was created and maintained by an Alteryx developer. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Hi @NathanOch 

The CReW macros were original developed by a Alteryx but continued development of them has been passed on to my fellow ACE @MarqueeCrew.  As far recommendations, we have been using them in our own Designer and Server environment with no issues.  For certain tasks, they are invaluable. 

As far as support goes, I spend a lot of time on the community and I rarely see issues that deal with the internal workings of the macros themselves.  Most questions that I've seen are how-to or configuration questions.  Indeed, in a lot of cases, adding a specific CReW Macro to an existing workflow simplifies the entire process and can make the workflow easier to maintain.
