Error: Failure when receiving data from the peer (check your VPN Access)

I  saw a few suggestions on this issue none matched my reason --- Check your VPN access.

We moved to a different VPN access software. It logs me off without any notice so you think you're on the VPN but your not. Once I figured this out, I logged in and it stopped blocking the emails.

Thanks for sharing @TimK10! Generally when we see a message like "failure when receiving data from peer" it is network related and it means

1.) Passing data to be uploaded in URL itself instead of a POST request
2.) Proxy blocking the request to the server
3.) Servers not supporting a particular request

I am glad that you narrowed your issue down to being disconnected from your VPN!
