HAs anyone been able to connect to a cognos report from Alteryx or is there a way we can do that ? Any help will be highly appreciated. When i say cognos report , i dont meant the extract but like a link or any API that we may connect to.

Cognos has it's own REST API, the documentation you can find HERE.
Alternatively, you can replicate the source connectors you are using for the data extracts within Cognos and build those connectors in Alteryx, then you'll never have to use Cognos again.
