Input String getting truncated

Question

Hi All,

I have been trying  into multiple excel files and make changes in one original file.
The field contains  strings of larger lengths.

I am been shown conversion errors and string is getting truncated although I have been increasing size using formula tool and select tool. 
I'm using alteryx version 2019.3

Thanks, can you share the formula tool configurations for this field? What data type/length did you set, and is that appropriate for the data?

Hi @QurrathAmeena

Could you provide a screenshot of the error? Sometimes the results window will note that the data is being truncated, but it is really for presentation purposes and not affecting the underlying data.
