Oracle sql query in input tool painfully slow

Question

I have a query that i want to use in my input tool that i built in oracle sql developper. There it takes 240 seconds to run. When i put that query in the input tool and try to read it from my db it takes wayy longer. Is there a way to speed this up? I can include the sql query if necessary. It is pretty long and complex and has all kind of connect by statements

with oci, and i dont think i have clob datatype in there

How are you connecting to your DB? Oci or ODBC?

There are some known isses with CLOB. Do you have such data types on your query?
