Product List by Category and Subcategory

Question

Hello Alteryx,

Issue: I'm not sure which Alteryx component I should use.

I am new to Alterxy, I'm working on a workflow for publishing a product list's of laboratory equipment report that should be organized by manufacturer, equipment type and their subcategories.

Of each category there are 8,000 equipment records associated with each category that I want grouped without totals.

I attempted Cross-Tab, but it required aggregating and summarization or Concatenation, First or Last.

When I tried to use Reporting-Layout, I received an error message.

CHROMATOGRAPHY, LC AUTOSAMPLER

INFINITY II HIGH SPEED PUMP

LC AUTOSAMPLER

AURORA SCIENTIFIC

ANIMAL EQUIPMENT

MUSCLE LEVERS

I'd be grateful for any help I can get in improving the workflow.

Thank you for taking the time to get reviews. A copy of the Product list is added. Please see the pivot table for an example of how I expect the report output to appear.

Sounds like group by in the summarize tool could be your friend.
