ODBC Driver not pulling complete SQL Data

Hello all 

I'm connected to my SQL database thru a generic connection, when trying to pull data, there are blank fields, but whenever I pull thru the TOAD Datapoint tool, I'm getting a full set of data with no blank fields. 
Has anyone ever ran into a similar issue? If so, what was your resolution or troubleshooting steps?

What kind of database is this? My first recommendation would be to check the data sources page (https://help.alteryx.com/current/designer/data-sources) and make sure that you are using the appropriate driver. Additionally, can you try adding a browse tool after the Input Data tool and see if that makes a difference? 

Additional context surrounding the data source that you are connecting to would be helpful. You mentioned that you are using the generic connection option which makes me think that it is a data source that isn't on our official list and therefore may need you to try a couple of drivers to see if one works better.
