Turn number filed and Vstring fiield to vstring

Beginner question here.

How to do I turn a field coming in as "double" to a string?

Need to concatenate double string & vstring to a vstring.

Here is my formula, billing # is the double and brand is vstring.  think I need a to text or something before the double.

[BP Billing #]+[CMA Brand]

Hi @CherylH ,

Use a select tool to change the number to a string prior to attempting your formula.  There are other ways to program it within the formula tool, but this may be easiest.
