Generate Month and Year columns to fill gap

Question

Hello everyone,

I have the table below and I am trying to do two things.

Step 1) Use the First CY-Month for each ID and generate the months between that row and the next rows CY-Month

Step 2) Fill down the "City" to cover the newly generated rows

I tried messing with the generate tool but havent had any luck getting this to work. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi @JMart2135 ,

You can use a generate rows tool, but before you do that, you have to create a field that will let you know for each record, the maximum date until you want to generate rows for.

In your instance, that would be the date in the next record- 1 month so I 've used a multi-row formula tool for that
