Poly build vs. Poly Split

Question

Can someone clarify the difference between these 2? I am new to Alteryx and wondering when to use one over the other. Thank you!

Hi @amandacastro

As the name suggests. Poly Build uses the points to build polygon. Poly Split splits the polygon to parts.

Poly Build -> builds

Poly Split -> breaks

Here are some example workflow that might help you understand much better.

In this example there are splitting the existing polygon and building it back.
