Create Interactive Tables linked to Interactive Chart Drilldowns

Question

The reporting functionality of Alteryx Designer allows flexibility in creating static reports, except for Insight, which allows for the creation of interactive charts.  It's a great feature to allow others within the organization that are linked to Alteryx Server to visualize information.  Is there a way to do the same with tables?  I have created an interactive chart that has drilldowns and it would be invaluable to be able to update a table next to the chart as the user drills down.  Any ideas?

I've used some of the other tools in Alteryx Designer to get workflows to prompt the user to drill down to filter the data and present tabular results as a report - but again, it's static.  We're in a trial phase of Alteryx Server and I'm working to showcase a variety of capabilities and was hoping I could figure out some way to do this.  Standing up both an Alteryx Server along with Tableau Server might be a stretch at the moment.  I agree, the visualization tools you mentioned are stronger in that arena.

Unfortunately, no. Alteryx Reporting tools are strong for creating static reports - more so snapshots in time. If you want interactive reports that will for example filter a table by drilling down into a bar chart, something like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlikview is stronger.

If you want a user to be able to drill down into a certain population of data in a non-visual way, you can use a filter to isolate the records you'd like. You can make this interactive by creating an analytic app and using a drop-down and action tool to update the filter.
