Uses of the Data Output tool?

Hey guys. I'm new to Alteryx, and just had a quick question regarding the Data Output tool. So far, the only thing I've done with the tool is use it to create an Excel file. Besides creating different types of files, are there any other tricks that the Data Output tool is capable of? Thanks!
