I am looking to use the Generate Rows Tool to create duplicates of my data from Sheet 1.
I've attached an .xlsx that will perhaps best explain what I am looking to achieve. On sheet 1 is the raw data, and Sheet 2 is what I would like the output to look like. Sheet 3 explains what I am looking to do with the new column.
If the number is equal to 2, I want the original copy plus 2 duplicates. 3 rows total.
If the number is equal to 3, I want the original copy plus 3 duplicates. 4 rows total.
I want the new output field to exist as well as 1, 2, 3.. and so on as I would like to eventually use this to create a new id_field demonstrated in Sheet 3. Any help would be much appreciated whether this is possible. I'm not very familiar with the Generate Rows Tool.
