PDF input Tool - Cannot read pdf

Question

Hi Everyone,

I am having trouble reading some pdf files using the pdf input tool . Usually it works. But now i have two different problems: The first type of pdf give me symbols instead of characters when i read in the files. The second problem is that i have a pdf file that whenever i run the workflow it shows no data even thought the pdf is not empty, I attached some screenshots of the problems

Update: For the file that show no records , I renamed it and it somehow worked.

For the file that shows squares, it is a file in english. Is there anyway to convert the pdf file to text maybe ?

Maybe it has something to do with non-English characters?
