workflow failure mail

Hello,

I have configured the email tool. After successful run of the workflow it will send an email with the file name in body.

Now I want to configure it for failure of the workflow and the body should contains the reason for the workflow failure.

Is it possible through Alteryx?

Hi @Dhananjay_Galphat1 

This can be achieved using the workflow events. If you are selected on the canvas, you can then open up the 'events' tab from the configuration pane.

If you then select 'Add' it will give you the option to send an email, with options for when a workflow runs with errors. The default email body will contain the log information and therefore the information about why it has failed.
