Dear all,

If I have two files, one file I have a name of the company and the other file I have a database of a lot of companies. I want to make a workflow to take the name of the company from the first file and search in the database and give me in the output the information of that company only. How can I do that by using which tool?

If you are looking for an exact match, you can use a join tool. You would connect both data sets and then configure it to join on the name field. You can also use a find and replace tool and append the fields that you are interested in pulling the information for.

If you are looking for even more of a flexible search, Alteryx has fuzzy matching capabilities which can even pick up things like spelling differences as a match if the values are close enough.
