Server 2020.3 - Problems adding users to collections - defect identified

We’ve recently discovered broken functionality regarding users and collections in the latest release of Server (2020.3), applicable to customers who have SAML authentication enabled in their Server installation.

If you use SAML authentication in Server, we strongly suggest that you hold on installing until we can release another version of Server with the fix.

Server installations using either built-in authentication or Active Directory authentication will not have issues with the current build, and Server 2020.3 is still available for those cases.On our download site, you will see the download link with the following note attached: “NOTE: Not for SAML authentication configurations".

Hey folks, great news!

2020.3.7 Server Stable Update has been released and can be found at licenses.alteryx.com.

This fixes the issue we had with adding users to collections in SAML environments, as well as a regression regarding the version of jquery.
