Macro issue

I am trying to create a macro to insert multiples files using one input tool. However, I cannot seem to connect the input tool to the Macro output in-DB when trying to create the macro. It keeps saying In-DB Macro Inputs and Outputs can only be used in standard macros. Missing Incoming Connection.

You have two types of Macro output (in-db & Normal), you are trying the use the Macro output in-db.

The one you need can be found on the "Interface" menu, and you will see the "Macro Output" tool
