Macro - Input Data Tool

Question

Hi all,

I created a Macro for the Input Data Tool to read in files dynamically. It works only for the path I entered directly for the input into the input tool and is not updating the connect a file or database based on a list. Am I not correctly using the update tool?

Hi @wolfgangh

When you connect your input file - you need to make sure that the File Value field is selected (see below)

Here is some more guidance on macro input tool

(1) If schema and structure are the same

(2) If scheme of files are different
