I have data that looks similar to what I have created below:
| Partner | amount | campaign |
| RS | 7.26 | abc - def- ghi |
| Spot | 22.88 | def - ghi |
| U2 | 9.72 | xyz - uvw - srt - opq |
What I want is to maintain the data, but create rows based on splitting the campaign. So it would look like:
| Partner | amount | campaign |
| RS | 7.26 | abc |
| RS | 7.26 | def |
| RS | 7.26 | ghi |
| Spot | 22.88 | def |
| Spot | 22.88 | ghi |
| U2 | 9.72 | xyz |
| U2 | 9.72 | uvw |
| U2 | 9.72 | srt |
| U2 | 9.72 | opq |
My thought process would be two parse the campaign into separate columns and then gather/melt those columns. But, I am neither sure that this would be the best way nor do I know how to go about this in Alteryx.
Appreciate any ideas!
