That was a fun challenge, @Treyson - I never thought about quarters that way!

My solution:

I struggled a bit to come up with a good way to get the Quarters number, but ended up using datetimediff and converting it to quarters. I think it would have had to have been a lot more complicated if the dates weren't all the first day of the quarter.

Not difficult but ended up being a little more involved than I expected.

Process:
- Separate data to columns
- Clean-up and set data types
- Convert to proper date format
- Clean-up and Sort by Client ID and Date
- Determine Quarter for each client
- Extract Year from date
- Join with Cost data (join on Year)
- Calculate cost and revenue for each client and quarter
- Aggregate Revenue and Cost (group by quarter)
- Calculate profit margin
- Sort (desc)

Not much here that's controversial - only thing to point out is the gap-check to look for missing quarters ( @Treyson was kind, no missing quarters in this exercise).
