Gallery - input data - share drive - Saving to Alteryx Gallery with personal credentials

Hi all,

we want to run a workflow in the gallery, that runs perfectly locally. The workflow reads in data from a share drive.

If we run the workflow on the share drive, the workflow can not setup a connection to the share drive.

How can we configure the workflow? If we save the workflow into the Gallery, we can not specify credentials.

Hi @Inactive User 

Firstly, ensure you are using UNC paths to your shared drives rather than the mapped name (https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Server-Knowledge-Base/Workflow-Dependencies/ta-p/49696) and that the Alteryx Server has access to these. 

Secondly, you can set the 'Run As' account globally in the server system settings - many server implementations opt to use a service account that has access to all data sources and choose to configure that account:
