Setting workflow on server with python scripts and SQL

My question is real basic and I apologise if its my lack of research. 

I want to set up a scheduled workflow on Alteryx server to run on particular day and time which consists bunch of python and SQL scripts. Does it use the environments on local computer or the requirements can be installed on the server and any user regardless of their system configuration will be able to run it. If yes, please point me to the articles or resources which might be helpful.

@hima The python/SQL scrips need to be on the Server machine or a network drive the server has access to. You can change the run as settings in the System Settings for the server.
