Running a workflow with macros that writes data to a network server from Alteryx Server

Question

I wrote a workflow that writes data to a network server. I have permission to that server and it works great. Now I want to run that same macro on the Alteryx server, but the server does not have access to that network folder to write the file. What is the best way to resolve this?

Hi cdjohns1992,

For your workflow to work correctly in server, the server machine needs to be granted access to the network folder. Additionally if any extra macros were used in the workflow (i.e. Crew Macros), the same macros need to be installed on the server machine as well.
