Hi all,
Is there a way to have Alteryx select "Microsoft Excel Legacy" for the file format while using a dynamic input tool?
I'm trying to replicate the attached screenshot from a regular input tool.
Thanks.
@JordanJ
When configuring the Dynamic Input source template, you can choose any of the supported files including MS Excel Legacy
@JordanJ -
You may need to download Microsoft's Legacy Driver if you don't see the option -

Per MikeB's response -
"The Legacy driver we use for Excel is supplied by Microsoft. It was automatically installed with Office 2010, but they stopped including it, so you have to install it manually if your machine has a newer version of Office. Updating Alteryx alone should not have removed this driver.
You can easily re-install it from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255
NOTE: you should match the driver with your version of Office (32bit driver for 32 bit Office - or 64bit driver if you have 64bit Office)"
Thanks for the quick responses! I tried doing what Michal suggested but I got the attached error saying that Microsoft Access database engine couldn't find the sheet. I double checked, and the sheet definitely exists.
Any ideas?
When importing an excel spreadsheet, how can Alteryx automatically change the file format to legacy excel?
