Spatial Data External Hard Drive Access

Looking for assistance in accessing spatial data from the Alteryx external hard drive in lieu of a hard install on my machine.  Had over a 100gb free and the install exceeded available space before it completed.

Is there a way to point Alteryx to the drive to access the files instead of a local install?

Hi @Adam75 

Yes! This is exactly what I do. My data is on an external drive.

Once the data is installed on the drive, plug it in when you start Alteryx. You can set up your user defaults to find the data on the external drive.

Options>>Edit User Settings>>Database defaults. Your data sets should be listed there.
