Configuration Window not visible

I'm a newbie, and I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I've done something dumb, and am now unable to view or display the Configuration Window on left side of screen...I've tried to use the 'View' options, but not having any luck. Thanks in advance!

If the window is hidden somewhere and you need to get it back, reset your layout with Options > User Settings > Restore Defaults. Then re-arrange the windows as you desire.

If you haven't changed any configuration that you care about, try using Options->User Settings-> Restore Defaults, which should restore this.

If that doesn't work, I'm guessing that your Configuration pane is minimized somewhere. If possible, can you close out all your other software that is running and take a full screenshot of everything on your monitor(s) with Alteryx up? That will help to pinpoint where it may have gone.

only happens to me using the 'formula' tool. i can be using and putting code into it, move to another tool and come back and it is white. resetting options to default and saving/closing/reopening the process flow does not resolve. i must close alteryx all together and restart to get it back. this has been happening for months now. what is up w/ this?
