Global workflow settings

What's the best approach for containing settings for workflow. I'm looking for something similar to the behavior of a gallery connection, but for custom lookups.

I want to identify a lookup and it yields a value. This lookup should me managed by an admin (again, similar to the gallery connection).

I want to get the best practice approach that Alteryx would recommend.

Hi @fhrdev ,

Are you looking for “workflow constants” or the ability to save settings for an app/macro (these can be found in the interface designer, which can be added under “View” in the top toolbar?  

Can you explain what you mean by custom lookups?
