Packaged workflow fails to retain python code in python module

Question

I'm working with a team on a workflow and wrote some python code within the workflow. However, when I package and send the workflow the code is erased when my teammates open it. Is there a way to prevent this?

This should have been fixed in 2018.4 as part of patch
