IN Database connection error no column returned

Hi all, I am having a connection issue in Alteryx Designer. The error message is: Error opening "select * from table": No Columns Returned.

However, I am able to run the SQL query in oracle database, but just not in Alteryx, so I suppose it's not a database issue but rather an Alteryx in-db issue. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Look to use the query buiilder and then the visual query builder to create the query you have mentioned and then see the syntax which alteryx is using, it will be very similar but may not be identical.
