Python Tool: How to pass file input as a variable to python workflow

Think I have described that correctly...

Anyway, I have the following

Interface tool to prompt for file > updates a field > passes this to jupyter workbook

I need the file prompt to be assigned a certain variable name so the workbook can use it.. any ideas?
