Historical weather data

Hi fellow Alteryx-addicted friends!

Just wanted to know if you had any relevant data source to recommend to download historical data on climate? (ie temperature, humidity) on a specific location?

There's a few websites out there but wanted to know your best off!

We have a sample that downloads and parses data from https://www.wunderground.com/

https://developer.forecast.io/ - 1000 free calls every day

http://nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov/dods/ - is great for raw historical data - (check out http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3200984/where-can-i-find-historical-raw-weather-data for an example of how you can use the data).

Did a post on my blog a few months ago on parsing the UK Met office historic station data:

Been meaning to look at the NOAA data but havent got around to it yet (http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/data-access/land-based-station-data/land-based-datasets/quality-controlled-local-climatological-data-qclcd)

How do you work with the NCDC data if you don't know/have Python? I couldn't get Alteryx to read .dds or .das.
