XML invoice (Peppolbis) - Parse/extract all fields in columns

Hi all,

I am trying to build a workflow that parses XMLs (e-invoices, PeppolBIS) whereby all fields are extracted to an Excel, with the respective fields als a columnheaders and the value/text of the field in the row below.

Ideally it would be set up in a way that we can do a batch input from a folder with numerous similar XMLs.

I have been trying for a few hours now, with the parse and regex tool, but must admit these are not my cup of tea, not coming to the desired outputs. Likely given that these are nested XMLs and I might be overcomplicating things.

Would anyone be open to help? The PeppolBIS e-invoices will become the standard across the EU, so would be a a valuable workflow for many people.

For nested XMLs like PeppolBIS, standard RegEx can complicate things. The best approach here is to use a Directory tool paired with a Batch Macro to loop through the files and then use the XML Parse tool to automatically burst the fields into columns
