Server API tool to connect with Gallery and Extract workflow result

Hi,
I have curator access and I wanted to extract Workflow Results of all workflow available in Alteryx Server/Gallery.
I have API Key & API Secret but I am not able to download. While I am able to download User detail and App detail(Workflow name, Last Ran Date, Created by) with help of Server API tool but I am not able to download all workflow result from Server.
Can someone guide me I tried referring Server API document but no luck, seems like all the documents are old and not usefull.
Let me know if anyone have any other alternative and idea.

But above end point not providing the desired result which is Workflow result Log

Okay try /V1/workflow/{appid}/jobs

Within the server API configuration.

Below the get endpoint there should be an options

Use incoming field for parameters ( this can be used if you have already extracted workflow Id's - create a excel or text input and add the workflow ID's if you want to pull the results of all the workflows.

If you want a single workflow disabling the option ( use incoming fields ) should show a parameter value ( appid ) enter the app id it should pull the results of that particular worklfow ( app Id is basically workflow Id.

Not sure why there isnt a endpoint which would pull the results but the above should help you get the results.

It’s essentially a 3-step process.

You first have to get the “Job ID” for the workflow using this endpoint – where “appId” is the Id of the workflow.

/v1/workflows/{appId}/jobs

2. Then you use the Job ID received to obtain information about that job using the following endpoint

/v1/jobs/{jobId}

The return response from that call will give you the following structure. The key information you want is the array of “outputs”. This lists the number of outputs (files) produced by the job.

3. Then you download the binary stream of the Output you want using this endpoint. Important to add the “?format=Raw” param.

Note that, in the array of outputs above, the “formats” property lets you know what file format it is i.e. XLS, PDF

/v1/jobs/{jobId}/output/{outputId}?format=Raw

I usually just iterate through all outputs and write the received stream of data to a file named appropriately with the proper extension read from the “formats” property above.

Unfortunately it's not working
I am getting detail which are as below & Binary data & Download headers are blank and remaining are just the detail.

It's Giving Below detail

It's not providing Workflow run details.

I need Workflow status detail:-
-Job Name, Workflow, Status, Engine, Run Type, Assigned Worker, Owner, Run As, Completed (Status) Date and Time

Not sure why the binary data would be null unless the workflow was not an App. If you just need the workflow info then a combination of the results from the following endpoints gives quite a bit more info.

/admin/v1/workflows
/v3/workflows/{workflowId}

We have also combined information obtained directly from the MongoDB collections using an API to include more information about the job status and results.

Hi Rahul

I was able to pull the information using the below API.

Job name - v3/jobs

Workflows - v3/workflows/{workfloeid}

Status - v3/jobs

Engine - v3/jobs{jobid}

Run type - v3/schedules + workflow match ( comparision should help filter out scheduled vs normal run ).

Assigned worker - v3/workflows/{workflowid} within it worker tag.

Owner - /admin/v2/users combine this with the user ID from the workflows.

RunAs - v3/workflows/{workflowid} under it credential type.

Completed data and time - combination from v3/jobs by calculating start time and exwcution time.

Note the API would differ from version to version.

The above works with 2025 and 2026.
