Extract Alteryx Workflow Result Log Report

Hi,

I have curator access and I wanted to extract Workflow Results of all workflow available in Alteryx Server/Gallery.

I have API Key & API Secret but I am not able to download. While I am able to download User detail and App detail(Workflow name, Last Ran Date, Created by) with help of Server API tool but I am not able to download all workflow result from Server.

I believe you are only able to download the recent workflow results data. So you would have to run and save the output everyday.

If you have MongoDB, you can access the AlteryxService AS_Results query, then you have an easier way to get your data, plus a lot of other information you might be interested about.

When you retrieve the data, you need to transform this data from Bytes into structured data.

There are a tool developed for getting the data: Server Usage Report

You can also find the tool on the Alteryx Market Place.

After you have setup the tool and DCM connections, then running the tool you might run into an error concerning EngineDll="..\AlteryxService_Client.dll

try /V1/workflow/{appid}/jobs

Within the server API configuration.

Below the get endpoint there should be an options

Use incoming field for parameters ( this can be used if you have already extracted workflow Id's - create a excel or text input and add the workflow ID's if you want to pull the results of all the workflows.

If you want a single workflow disabling the option ( use incoming fields ) should show a parameter value ( appid ) enter the app id it should pull the results of that particular worklfow ( app Id is basically workflow Id.

Not sure why there isnt a endpoint which would pull the results but the above should help you get the results.
