The number of rows in the Source do not match the number of renames

Question

I continue to get the following error that prevents my job from running:

Job Type: Transform

Exception Type: AmpJobFailed

Error Category: infrastructure

ToolID200: The number of rows in the Source do not match the number of renames.

This is preventing any outputs from running, and I'm not sure which tool to check, as the last tool in my workflow is #198 (so I don't have a tool #200). I do have several joins/unions that intentionally incorporate fields that are not present in each record, but I have data cleansing tools after each of those to remove nulls.

Given that you've tried CTRL+F to see if you can find the Tool + ID without luck… I would use containers and wrap portions of your workflow and shut it off to start to isolate down where the issue is stemming from.

From there I would hope that you can find the tool throwing the issue.  Every once in a while I'll have a tool that is not working (due to version conversions) and I simply have to remove it and add it back in and re-configure it.

No promises this will solve it for you but it's a common troubleshooting technique that I use.  Hope it helps, -Jay

Then you need to find out which is tool #200 as Alteryx will not give you an error message for a tool that is not there
