[Bug] Load CSV from Line 2 (with Ignore Delimiter in Quote)

Question

Version: Alteryx Designer 2025.2 Error: Can't read on line 2, when it have new line in the column name in line 1. Workaround: read on line 1 and use dynamic rename to promote header it should load the file first only then count then line. if else, it not intuitive enough for no-code user. because, it can't match what user see in excel. * Data in Notepad it will read C", Line1-D for line 2, and show error of too many field for Record#1. Note: based on this behavior, it will match what I want if I start read from line 3, but it should not the solution of this case. because I cant control whether it have more new line in line 1. @jadepech let me share my intention to you.

I want a 1 tool solution that read from the 2nd Line as header.

To read the actual 2nd line (from the sample), it have to config at line 3 (+1 newline).

But it should not the case, because the line 1 may have another column that have contains new line where have to start to read from line 4.

I already have workaround (where already in the post). It to read from line 1 and skip any extra row and promote the line 1 to the header.

Ah, I see what you are saying now. Could you do the above suggestion, uncheck the box to use first row as field names, then use a select records tool retain all except row 1 (which is your Line1 data). Depending on the size of your data, you can then use the new row 1 in your dynamic rename.

however, no issue on line 1, the issue on happen when I want to read line 2.
