Unable to change email ID for alteryx account.

I need to change the email id associated with my alteryx account. I have followed the steps as mentioned here -

But even after trying multiple times, I am not able to change it and it always shows me this error message, as shown in the snapshot -

"The claims exchange 'REST-KhorosCollisionCheck' specified in step '11' returned HTTP error response with Code 'BadRequest' and Reason 'Bad Request'."

Please help me to change my email id.

I request @AlteryxMatt and @AlteryxCommunityTeam to please guide in this, as it is a bit urgent. Please help me to change my email ID, as I continue to face the same error message as mentioned in my first post.

I have tried to use many different email id's from google, as well as corporate email id, everytime I am receiving this same error message -

Hi @Aakash55 ,

Looking at the error message, my guess is that the Gmail address you're trying to switch to might already be associated with another Alteryx Community account. The 'KhorosCollisionCheck' in the error suggests the system is detecting a conflict with an existing account during the email change process.

It might be worth trying to log in to Community with that new Gmail address to check if an account already exists under it.

That said, if that doesn't seem to be the issue, I'd recommend contacting Alteryx Support directly — as Qiu mentioned, the Community Team should be best placed to investigate this on the account level.

Thanks for your suggestions. I confirmed it 100 % that the gmail account as well as the other corporate email id that I used, are not linked with any altery accounts of any type, therefor that should not be the cause of this problem.

I have sent an email to the support@alteryx.com about this issue, or if there are some other email id for such issues ?

Received an automated reply from support@alteryx.com, stating that -

This mailbox is no longer in use. A case has not been generated.

The email suggests me to use Alteryx Community Discussion Forum and Knowledgebase for the solution.

So basically, I am totally stuck without anyway to change the email id for my Alteryx Community Forum account. I never expected that such a simple task would become so difficult. Alteryx should have an easy method to do this 2 minutes task.

And the irony is that, just as I posted my reply here, I received another email from alteryx, stating that I have promoted to "Fireball" !
