I hope everyone is doing well.
I am working on an Alteryx workflow that needs to check the accessibility of three Excel files before proceeding with further processing. Need to know if the file or files are lock or someone is using the file. My goal is for the workflow to send an email notification in both scenarios:
- If all files are accessible
- If any file is locked or inaccessible
Here are the files I need to check:
- File1.xlsx
- File2.xlsx
- File3.xlsx
Could you please assist me with the best approach or provide a sample workflow for this setup? I’d appreciate any guidance, best practices, or examples you can share.
