Hi All ,

I have a data set below, Can someone help me create a Pivot table using alteryx .

Items Date
Filing 1/8/2026
Posting2/8/2026
Testing3/8/2026
Testing3/10/2026

The data should Look like below

Items Jan Feb Mar
Filing 1 0 0
Posting0 1 0
Testing0 0 2

The first thing that you would like to do it to change the date format to a date data type, you can do it with Date Parse tool.

Now you can get the month, you can add a new field that contains 1.

Now you can use the Cross Tab Tool, selecting month as the header and grouping based on item.

Then with a Multi Field Formula tool you can set a condition that if the field is not 1 then 0.
