How do I sum up the values in a field?

Across the top of my data, I have week numbers. I want to be able to sum up the values and add a "TOTAL" row at the bottom of each week. I know that I can use a summarise tool to do this but how do I make it dynamic? So that when week 5 data enters the input files, how do I get that to be automatically summarised?

You can do that with a Batch Macro, what you will need to do in the macro to rename the field to a standard name just be fore the summarize tool, so you can set the summarize tool based on that name, and rename back after it to the original name.

In this way the macro will take week by week and create the totals. The output of the macro will give you the the sum for each of the weeks.
