Alteryx's Behavior on Excel files and sheets

I'm currently questioning Alteryx's behavior with my Excel file. As you can see in screenshot 1 below, here is my data:

When I use the option “First row contains data,” I get the result shown in screenshot 2:

Why isn't it returning the result as shown in screenshot 3?

Is it normal that we need to specify a range for Alteryx to read the file properly?
Are there any known issues with Alteryx when reading Excel files?

It is important to understand how Alteryx works. Alteryx defining the data base on columns, that is how the data is organized.

Excel is a spreadsheet and data can be organized in different ways, some are basic and simple for Alteryx to handle and some more complex. Therefore you have different options, to help get the data into Altreyx in the best way. If the data starts on row 8, you can input the data without the need to remove the top empty rows. It is not just deleting empty rows, but also the data type of the data. When you know that the first row is the headers, by indicating Alteryx will use that row as the headers and the data will come after it, normally with the correct data type.

You can use range when the data is not starting at A1 but let say, C5. The idea is inputting the data with the header and have the correct data type if possible, this eliminate data transformation that would be required otherwise.

Therefore you have all these different configurations so you can just get the needed data from excel.
