Downloading workflow output

Hi, in my company, there are only a few people with an Alteryx designer license who are building workflows for employees. I was told that people without license could receive output in two different ways:

(1) A scheduled, weekly output once/several times a week

(2) If someone with the license would download another output and send it.

Is there any other more flexible way for unlicensed users to start the workflow and receive output? Preferably on command?

It is a totally different thing than the Designer. An Alteryx Gallery needs to be set up and it is not part of the Designer license. If your company does not have Alteryx Gallery, then only people that that Designer license could run the automation. If that is the case I'm suggesting the create an output folder where other employees has access to, so they can have access to the automation output.

Alteryx Gallery does not require new licenses. That is how Alteryx enabling users without a license run the automation. You will need to have access however this is company internal thing. Consider it as a platform where all Alteryx automations are saved and anyone that has access can use the automation.

Alteryx license is required to build workflow. We can look at it like a PDF reader. You can open the PDF and use it but cannot change it, not edit nor modify it.

Hi, thank you for the answer! I will check it with my colleagues, does having an Alteryx Gallery require extra licensing or is it included in the designer license?
