Remove nulls after Union

Question

I have 3 columns below(Month/Center/GM), 10 rows, that I need to combine with 2 columns(MCO MONTH and MCO), and 2 rows. When I do a Union, it works, but I can't have all the Nulls and blanks in the missing fields, and I need all the nulls completely removed so the rows with actual data values(not nulls) is always at the top.

I'm using 2024.2 server.

Hello @robert_derubeis

If you are only doing one month at a time, you can join by record position and don't include the extra month column in the selection grid.

If you have multiple months, it becomes tricky since you have to pad the shorter list to match up with the longer one.  You can summarize the longer list by month to get the count of rows and then use a generate rows tool get the correct number for each month and then do the join by record position

Does anyone know how this can be done?  To remove all the nulls and move everything to the top so there are no null rows?
