I'm no longer able to enter or edit file paths in output tools. Any changes i make to the file path are lost when i click off the tool and back on to it.
@DanBlenkinsop Are you typing in the full path into the output tool?
I normally will try to avoid doing it, but defining the path as a field in the data and then using it to define the required path, this give you full control.
Thanks, I do that sometimes. But something has clearly broken as it has always been possible to type directly into the file path field.
I'm assuming you might've upgraded recently? Go to Options > User Settings > Edit User Settings > Override DCM Settings > DCM Optional (instead of DCM only)
I haven't updated recently. Thank you, changing to DCM Optional doesn't seem to have made any difference. As a work around, I've found if i click Refresh on the file preview after editing a file path, the edit sticks.
Very strange! Might be worth submitting to Support as a bug
Does the problem persist if you fully delete the output tool and reconfigure it?
It's been a while but I swear I've had this issue before and it basically came down to the workflow (tool) getting corrupted but removing the tool, saving the workflow, and then re-adding it seemed to resolve.
