Is there a way to get the total number of tools in a workflow

Question

I have been tasked by Management to get a count of the total number of tools in a workflow.  I really do not want to open up the workflow and counting the tools.  I have the following questions:

* Is there a field in the MongoDB that has the number of tools in a workflow?
* Is there an existing workflow that will give detail info on the tools in a workflow?

@JosephSerpis , Thank you.  I'll look into the 2 ways you mention.  Only issue is, as a System Admin, I do not own the workflows and have to do a few steps per workflow in order to get them into Developer.  My company has 9K+ workflows with what appears to be a 50% duplication.  So only 4K+ unique workflows.

Hi @LNGRIFL you can do control F in a workflow to find the total number of tools as shown in the screenshot.

For more systematic approach you can use the XML workflow parser from the Alteryx Marketplace to find the total number of tools however this would require some development to achieve your desired result. Workflow XML Parser | Alteryx Marketplace
